Camelot and Q-Summit are bringing the spirit of Silicon Valley to Mannheim

Mannheim, April 20, 2017 – Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab is supporting the “Q-Summit”, the first innovation and entrepreneurship conference organized by students at the University of Mannheim (April 19-21, 2017), as Strategic Innovation Partner. The goal of the Q-Summit is to connect up students with successful companies, startups and investors and to promote the founder and startup spirit in the metropolitan Rhine-Neckar region.

Dr Josef Packowski, CEO of the CAMELOT Consulting Group, explains: “The Q-Summit at the renowned University of Mannheim is the logical continuation of the long history of innovation in the metropolitan Rhine-Neckar region. The conference combines two elements that have always been important in the success of companies: innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. As a leading consulting firm, we live and promote both elements. This is why we are very happy to be bringing the spirit of Silicon Valley to Mannheim together with the Q-Summit.”

Over 500 participants were inspired by Pepper, among other things. Pepper is the humanoid robot from Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab that not only greeted the conference participants during the opening but also offered insight into the potentials offered by cognitive computing and artificial intelligence.

For two and a half days, the Q-Summit offers presentations, panel discussions and workshops featuring renowned speakers and companies and relating to the topics of innovation and entrepreneurship. One of the special highlights is a startup speed dating in which the participants come into personal contact with founders and CEOs. The conference lasts until tomorrow, Friday.
