Starterkit SAP BW on SAP HANA

SAP BW powered by HANA with its versions 7.3., 7.4, and 7.5 combines the capabilities of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) with the speed of SAP HANA. All Business Warehouse data is held in the main memory of the HANA appliance. The in-memory technology and column-based storage significantly improve load performance and data reporting, which in turn simplifies the modeling of data and the real-time analysis of non-aggregated mass data.

Camelot ITLab has developed an SAP BW on HANA Starter Kit to provide customers looking to implement SAP HANA with conceptual support and ensure the transfer of relevant knowledge. This includes the installation or migration of an SAP BW powered by HANA system and employee training. From the very beginning, we will also involve employees from the user departments to identify and address any problems with the current SAP BW installation.

Our SAP BW on HANA Starter Kit helps customers overcome the challenges of implementing SAP HANA as their SAP BW database. The key to this is a thorough understanding of the in-memory technology, system environments, data flows, and processes involved. Camelot’s IT consultants bring this specific expertise to table to help our customers build and retain their own SAP BW on HANA expertise. This is the only way to unlock the full potential of SAP BW with an SAP HANA database.

  • Easier modeling of business data and real-time analytics
  • Retention of SAP HANA expertise
  • SAP BW capabilities coupled with significantly faster processing speeds
  • Significantly improved load performance
