CAMELOT Group enters a global affiliation with the Demand Driven Institute (DDI)
Phoenix, Mannheim, April 5th, 2017 – The Demand Driven Institute (DDI) and CAMELOT Group today announced a global affiliation agreement. The joint agreement allows CAMELOT Group to offer its clients access to the complete DDI educational product suite.
Founded in 2011 by Carol Ptak and Chad Smith, the Demand Driven Institute is considered the global authority on “demand driven” education, training and compliance. The demand driven methodology including Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) represents an innovative approach that enables enterprises to adapt their operations and supply chains to an increasingly complex and volatile business environment. “DDI has dedicated itself to proliferating and advancing these methods throughout the world and in a consistent fashion,” comments Chad Smith, co-founder and partner at the DDI. “To achieve this, we need strong partners like CAMELOT that bring exceptional demand driven expertise and a global presence to the table.”
Adds Dr. Josef Packowski, CEO of CAMELOT Group: “We see it every day in our consulting practice: traditional supply chain management approaches just aren’t working anymore. The future belongs to demand driven methods, which we are already implementing for our clients today. With the DDI at our side, our clients will benefit from even more in-depth knowledge.”
The DDI and CAMELOT have been cooperating for quite a while now. In 2016 the “CAMELOT Demand Driven LEAN Suite” software solution developed by Camelot ITLab, the technology experts within the CAMELOT Group, was the first software solution built exclusively for SAP environments to be certified as DDMRP compliant by the DDI.
