Christian Wulff awards Camelot ITLab the “TOP-CONSULTANT” seal of quality“

The SAP consulting firm has now received the award for the fourth time, making it one of Germany’s best consulting companies

Mannheim, June 27th, 2017 – Since 2010 “TOP CONSULTANT” has been awarded to companies that provide outstanding quality and services in the SME consulting sector. As a leading SAP consulting firm, which optimizes processes along the entire value chain, Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) has now received the “TOP CONSULTANT” award for the fourth time. Camelot ITLab, which is active on a global basis, has thus established itself as one of the leading IT consulting companies in Germany. As mentor of the consultancy comparison, former German president Christian Wulff congratulated the company on 23 June at the 4th German SME summit in Essen.

The award takes place on the basis of a scientifically conducted customer survey, during which the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) interviewed reference customers of the participating consulting companies. The TOP CONSULTANT seal of quality is only awarded when a consulting companies achieves a good or very good result. The key criteria for an award are that customers regard the consultancy as demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and expertise.

Holger Reimer, Managing Director of Camelot ITLab GmbH, is pleased to accept this award again in 2017. “As manager of the Consulting and Delivery area, I place the utmost importance on customer satisfaction. Because long-term, sustainable relationships can only be established with quality and competence as well as trustworthy collaboration with customers. It therefore makes me even happier to see that our customers are extremely satisfied with us, and we, as a result of this, are receiving this award for the fourth time”.

However, companies are facing an increasing number of challenges due to digitization, such as the growing mountains of data or the increasingly shorter innovation cycles. In order to be able to support companies successfully, even more agile collaboration is needed with customers and technology partners. And this fact is also reflected in the most recent co-innovation initiative from Camelot ITLab and SAP SE. An innovative concept that has been further developed by Camelot ITLab, which deals with the topic “Demand-Driven Materials Requirements Planning (DDMRP)”, is currently generating a great deal of interest in the market. Within a matter of weeks an innovative software solution based on the latest technologies had been developed together with SAP SE, which now enables demand-driven supply chain planning in real-time. “The DDMRP extension for SAP Integrated Business Planning from Camelot ITLab allows simple integration of the DDMRP concept into SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP). It is not only the first extension solution for SAP IBP, but also a key milestone in our strategy, which is to provide an open and extendable infrastructure for our fast growing, modern Supply Chain Planning platform.” said Franz Hero, SVP and Head of SAP Digital SCM Development at SAP SE.

Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink from the WGMB emphasized the clarity that the seal of quality promotes: “The consulter market has overheated, and dubious providers appear time and again. TOP CONSULTANT distinguishes those consultants who have demonstrably provided their customers with outstanding support and service. The seal is thus an important guide for SMEs in a very confusing market.”
