LogiMAT 2019 focuses on networked scenarios
Mannheim, Stuttgart, 02/19/2019 – Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) presents solutions and process approaches at this year’s LogiMAT that understand logistics as an integrated domain and take it to a new level of automation by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and elements of the Internet of Things (IoT). LogiMAT – Europe’s leading trade fair for intralogistics – will start today and run until February 21 in Stuttgart.
The logistics and digital experts of Camelot ITLab will be available to LogiMAT visitors at booth D56 in hall 8 for conversations and practical live demos. A particular highlight: automated, AI-driven capacity planning. It supports companies in achieving high-capacity utilization in transport logistics. This increases both efficiency and sustainability in terms of reduced CO2 emissions.
This scenario will be illustrated at the booth with a model-based demonstration. For example, loading meter optimization can be implemented using laser applications from LASE GmbH, who are also participating at LogiMAT (hall 6, D17).
Integration through innovation
In order to ensure a 360° view and consistency within processes, it’s essential for companies to combine the areas of logistics planning and logistics processing in a holistic approach. At the system level, this is achieved through the tight integration of SAP TM, SAP EWM and SAP IBP, enhanced by SAP Analytics Cloud and AI-based components that provide users with highly relevant information for their strategic orientation.
In order to exploit the full potential of their supply chain, companies seeking to improve their performance rely on making a transformation using SAP S/4HANA. Camelot ITLab’s appearance at LogiMAT will also focus on how this can be implemented on the process side in such a way to enable an extremely high level of optimization.
“Digitalization is progressing at a considerable speed, and it opens up many different possibilities for companies to improve their logistics processes,” says Steffen Joswig, Managing Director of Camelot ITLab. “With more than 20 years of experience in innovative IT solutions, we support organizations in leveraging the potential of digitization and effectively exploiting forward-looking technological trends such as AI and IoT in logistics.”
