WirtschaftsWoche awards prize to digitalization project with ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE
Mannheim, 11/28/2017 – On November 21, Camelot ITLab was honored with the “Best of Consulting” award offered by WirtschaftsWoche for the third time. After having already received the “TOP Consultant” prize from the hands of former Federal President Christian Wulff in June, the consulting company has now been able to win two top-level awards this year.
Camelot joined the race for the coveted “Best of Consulting” prize this year with a digitalization project with ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, one of the largest media companies in Europe. Optimization and “re-innovation” of the SAP-based HR processes were the focus of this project. The concept included, among other things, access of employees to all relevant personnel processes via mobile devices independent of location and time, as well as an intuitive and modern design of the user interfaces.
The jury was convinced above all by the active involvement of the customer’s affected departments during all project phases. Design thinking workshops were carried out with the employees, from the conceptual design to the implementation and right up to the launch. That way, it was possible to adapt best practice standard processes and solutions to the requirements of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and thereby to also optimize acceptance by the employees. Because holistic digitalization of HR processes means a cultural change, it must be supported by all employees in order to be successful.
For Steffen Joswig, CEO of the Camelot ITLab, this award means confirmation of the distinct customer orientation. “Being awarded this renowned prize again makes us proud, and shows that our customer-oriented consulting approach that is aimed at the individual customer requirements is the right one. This puts us in the position to build and maintain a long-term relationship with customers that is based on trust.”
This year, WirtschaftsWoche awarded the “Best of Consulting” prize for the eighth time. The submitted client projects were assessed on the basis of scientific methods using qualitative and quantitative criteria. WirtschaftsWoche offered the award in seven disciplines: “IT Management”, “Competition Strategy”, “Marketing and Sales”, “Supply Chain Management”, “Restructuring”, “Finance and Risk Management and M&A” as well as “Public Sector”.
