Mannheim, Munich, June 4, 2019 – Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) presents the vision and practice of the logistics of tomorrow at this year’s Transport Logistic. The focus is on the question of how companies can react to the challenges of the future with intelligent technologies and how they can use them as a driver for their own success. Transport Logistics opens its doors from June 4 – 6, 2019, with the slogan “logistics makes it happen.”
The leading global trade show for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management takes place every two years. Visitors to Camelot ITLab in Hall A3, Stand 205, will see interactive information displays and live demos, and will be able to have discussions with logistics and digital experts. At the expert talk given by Andreas Gmür, logistics partner of CAMELOT Consulting Group, they will also gain valuable insights on blockchain in the pharma supply chain. The talk will take place on June 5th at 10:25 am in Hall A4, Forum III, as part of the CHEManager pharma logistics specialist forum.
No control is possible without transparency
At Transport Logistic, Camelot ITlab will present the ways in which companies can achieve the best possible overview and consistency of their data in the area of logistics and transport management, from a variety of perspectives. One important step is the careful dovetailing of supply chain execution and supply chain planning. Visitors can investigate how this happens seamlessly in the relevant SAP systems, in the context of an SAP S/4HANA transformation and while incorporating artificial intelligence (AI).
In order to be able to make the best possible use of the information presented to make tactical, operational and strategic decisions, the Camelot Logistics Dashboard provides a customized overview. SAP Analytics for SAP TM and EWM in the Cloud provides for appropriate in-depth analysis.
The subjects of Big Data in logistics and next level supply chain visibility will be covered by the experts from CAMELOT Management Consultants, the sister company Camelot ITLab, which will also be represented at Transport Logistic. The services of the two consulting companies combine IT, process and business expertise for a 360° view.
Innovation through an understanding of processes
“These days logistics is facing many challenges: external events that have an impact on the supply chain, but also internal events, such as the integration of new, digital solutions,” says Steffen Joswig, Managing Partner of Camelot ITLab. “With our innovation and process expertise throughout the entire value chain, we support companies in elevating their logistics to a new level.”
