Mannheim, December 4, 2019 – Camelot Innovative Technologies Lab (Camelot ITLab) and its client WEINMANN Emergency have been jointly awarded this year’s “Best of Consulting Award” by WirtschaftsWoche. The prize is awarded to outstanding consulting projects that have achieved demonstrably high project quality and customer satisfaction. Camelot ITLab accepted the award for the 5th time at this year’s ceremony, which was held on December 3, 2019 in Düsseldorf.
WirtschaftsWoche’s top-class jury awarded Camelot ITLab and WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology a prize in the “Operational Excellence” category for its introduction of a CRM system that supports WEINMANN Emergency in its international expansion and sales in over 100 countries; WEINMANN Emergency is a medium-sized German company that also enjoys success around the globe. “The introduction of the SAP C/4HANA Sales Cloud by Camelot has brought our internal and external sales teams closer together – especially internationally,” says André Schulte, CEO Group, WEINMANN Emergency. “We are delighted that this project that is important to us has now also been awarded a prize.”
International expansion in a highly regulated sector
WEINMANN Emergency develops innovative medical products for ventilation and defibrillation that are used by rescue, disaster control, and army medical services. Due to the complexity of the products and the legal regulations in the field of medical technology products, customer care is of particular importance in this industry. “Understanding our clients’ industry-specific challenges and working together with them to develop tailored, individual solutions to meet these is a crucial element of our approach to consulting. Thanks to the introduction of CRM, WEINMANN Emergency’s sales department was able to achieve significantly greater transparency in its distribution network – despite varying international requirements – drastically reducing manual tasks and making it easier to address segmented target groups. In addition to the WirtschaftsWoche award, Camelot ITLab’s CRM team was also recently awarded the coveted “SAP® Recognized Expertise” status by SAP in the area of SAP Cloud for Customer Germany. The certificate confirms the consultants’ extensive knowledge and experience, including of the SAP Sales Cloud.
