Global Pharmaceutical Enterprise enters next level of Data Management
Like most global enterprises, Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the pharmaceutical industry’s top 20 companies, used to store and manage master data on multiple, separated systems. New data records and updates were therefore not always immediately accessible across all business functions due to the lack of connectivity.
Camelot ITLab has been collaborating as implementation partner for Data Management and Master Data Governance with Boehringer Ingelheim as part of a three-year strategic transformation program, which is still ongoing.
Camelot ITLab implemented the MDM solution based on SAP Master Data Governance for Boehringer Ingelheim as implementation partner for the digitization of value chains. Thus, a long-term infrastructure could also be created for other transformation programs. For example, the modernization of the entire Global Business Service (GBS) area was enabled and enterprise resource planning was converted to SAP S/4HANA. The same possibilities will and can also be realized for other ERPs in the future.
